I watched this film last week, I watched this before I'd watched Vampire Academy, there's also a review for this.
First thing's first, if you haven't yet watched the trailer for this film, then you should do that, but this came out at the beginning of the year, so I'm guessing that a few of you might have already watched the full-feature film; if not, here's the trailer for you to enjoy. I remember that Yahoo! Movies made a huge post that circulated through Facebook because Zac Efron was on the toilet; example on the trailer preview.
I found this film absolutely hilarious... but like all comedy films, there has to be a quite serious plot; in terms of pros and cons that seemed a bit like a con, because it was heavy; divorce, death, and ruined friendships. This film truly lives up to its name. There are several awkward moments within the film, each with enough cringe to last you a lifetime.
I love Zac Efron as an actor; mainly because of his looks, and he's definitely grown up a lot since I watched him last. This is definitely one of the transitioning films he's doing in order to be considered for more manlier roles instead of the passive, emotional, schoolboy roles he's previously been in.
I gave the film FOUR OUT OF FIVE because it was incredibly funny, but also because everything slotted in really well. Even though I wasn't too keen on the heavy emotional part, I felt they blended really well.
