Genre: Drama | Sci-Fi

I wasn't sure when I saw this on my feed, I thought it was some new documentary about 100 people trying to live out of a forest with nothing but the land. It wasn't until I read somewhere that this was based on a book, and I'm a sucker for book-based TV programmes; it means that even if I don't get the fulfillment that the program promised, it means I might be able to find it elsewhere; a book.

I love dystopian programmes like this, plus, if I'd have seen that promotional picture, I would have been sold instantly. To me, it sounded a little bit like Terra Nova, another show that ended too soon.

I'm already six episodes in, and so far, I'm seeing good things. I also have LOTS of questions, like:

Who are they?
How did they survive?
Will they ever get to the mountain with all the food?
Is the food even there any more?
BUT why don't they want them going there?

Like I said in my post on Star-Crossed, I'm a TV binger. I binged this series of 6 (so far) in only a couple of hours, and I was sold on it. I want-ed more episodes there and then.

Has anyone read the books that this is based upon? I'd love to check them out.

...my verdict
I'd love to see this series go all the way and air until completion; a rare feat for any TV show. It would be awesome to see things play out instead of leaving the season on a cliffhanger to try and get more views; I've not seen the season finale, but I'm counting on there being a cliffhanger.

Do you watch The 100?
