Top 5 Jennifer Lawrence Flicks!

Hello, everyone! This is a slight PSA about why we love Jennifer Lawrence, and also here to dedicate a post to her. She's a great versatile actress with a huge future ahead of her. At only 24 years old, she has amassed a huge number of credits to her name, and both admins have different top picks about which our top flicks are.

She's a dream best friend, alongside Emma Stone; who, funnily enough, are also great friends.

Kerry's Top Picks

1. Silver Linings Playbook

This film is when I really started to take notice of Jennifer Lawrence as a talented and incredible actress. Plus I love the story and the whole film in general, making it an easy choice for my number 1! :)

2. American Hustle

J-Law is flawless in this film; charming and absolutely hilarious. She even says herself "Thank God for me!" and I couldn't agree more! She makes this film.

3. Hunger Games: Catching Fire

This film made me go back and watch 'The Hunger Games' again and enjoy it (mainly just to fulfil my J-Law withdrawal symptoms). I love how sassy her character is in this film, especially the scene in the lift, her facial expressions are brilliant! Plus I found the storyline much better and more interesting than The Hunger Games.

4. X-Men: First Class

Jennifer is SO sexy in this film! I mean naked blue super-girl? YES PLEASE! Plus I love a good Marvel film so a Marvel film starring Jennifer Lawrence is even better! Also again with the sassiness, I love sassy Jennifer.

5. The Hunger Games

This is the first film I ever saw Jennifer Lawrence in, and I have to admit, I found it very boring and didn't really get it. However, since then I developed an undying love for her and returned to watch this film again and enjoyed it! It mainly makes the list because 'Winter's Bone' was just far too weird for me to get the whole way through!

Joe's Top Picks

1. American Hustle

This is the most recent Jennifer Lawrence film that I've watched. I know Kerry noted this quote, but I have to say it again "thank God for me!" YES! Thank the God (and I'm not religious) for J-Law! I only wished that she had more screen time. She really gets into character, and even as a supporting role, J-Law outshined some of the other cast.

2. Silver Linings Playbook

The sheer acting capability of Jennifer Lawrence astounds me. She's so talented, and her on-screen chemistry with Bradley Cooper is amazing.

3. House at the End of the Street

This film is one of my favourite horror/thrillers, and it gives me chills, but in a good way. She's a great actress and I think that she needs to do more like this, maybe with a twist of her being the serial killer, I'd love to see her play that role.

4. X-Men: First Class

Like Kerry said, Marvel and J-Law, J-Law in a naked blue body suit/paint. Even as a mutant, she's absolutely perfect.

5. Hunger Games: Catching Fire

I preferred her in the sequel because I felt like there was more of her Katniss character shown. I've read the books, and she's a perfect fit. Not to mention that she's a total fangirl of the books.

The Future of Jennifer Lawrence

As of posting this, there are FIVE films on her IMDb page that haven't yet aired, including two more Hunger Game films, two more X-Men films, and another film (Serena) that she'll be starring in with Bradley Cooper, with whom she was in both American Hustle and Silver Linings Playbook.

I'm looking forward to all of these. In fact, I think every film would be a lot better with the added benefit of the Jennifer Lawrence factor.

They should do a "Day in the Life of Jennifer Lawrence" film. We would EAT that up on the front row seats of the cinema.
