I've heard the phrase "Angelina Jolie is perfect for the role of Maleficent" and I'm 50/50 with this, she's not been in anything since 2010, excluding the voice acting for Kung Fu Panda. So, sure she looks like a Maleficent, but so could any actress with some white facepaint and a dark contour.

That being said, I think it's her voice that fits the character.

So here are the trailers if you haven't seen either of them before...

This trailer came out in November, that's a whole SEVEN months before it being released. I'm not sure what their ideas was about releasing this teaser several months before release, but it kinda worked, I'm stoked for this film.

I think I'm going to love this film; from the trailer, what I can see is that it's a huge twist on the popular fairy tale of Sleeping Beauty where Maleficent is seen as an 'all evil' being. From these two trailers, I'm hoping that she's really good and innocent in all of it, and has only been made evil by society.

After these seven months, this film best be pretty amazing.
